Farmer’s Market

The Jefferson Maryland Farmers Market season for 2023 will be held on Wednesdays starting May 17th through Wednesday, September 13th from 4-7pm. The Market will be located at the Jefferson Ruritan Center Pavilion and parking lot. We hope to provide the local community with a fresh array of local produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, dairy, craft beverages, fun local crafts, entertainment, and more.

The market will be located directly off Route 340 on Lander Road, Jefferson. Route 340 is a major commuter highway for West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland workers. We are also only 10 minutes from Frederick, Maryland and to our knowledge, offer the only Wednesday evening market in our area.

We use the Ruritan Pavilion as our market place and therefore can remain open in most weather conditions. We are looking for vendors who are willing to set up outside also as this will give us more visibility from Route 340 and Lander Rd to increase our foot traffic.

We are partnering with Jefferson Boy Scout Troop 1066 who will be organizing food trucks on Wednesday evenings to increase our foot traffic.

We’ll be advertising for the Markets with signage directly on the road front, and through our Facebook, and website pages and hope you will assist our marketing reach by promoting on your social media channels.

The fees for the 2023 season are as follows:
1. Just once – $20 (tented space only)
2. For one full month (June, July, or August) or for once/month during the season – $25 (tented space only)
3. 2023 Season Vendor – $75/season
4. 2023 Season Vendor Outside/Tented Paid by May 1, 2023- $50/Season
5. 2023 Season Vendor inside pavilion Paid by May 1, 2023 – $65/Season (as space allows)

We want to provide a fresh, casual, and fun Farmers Market experience for both our Vendors and our Customers while practicing safety and health per CDC guidelines and hope you will join us!
